Overthinking and frequent deep thinking are respectively a habit and a hobby of mine.
I usually take 30 minute showers because I am always daydreaming in the shower, I never get to school or appointments as early as I would like to because I waste time worrying about not getting there on time and I enjoy observing social interactions on the bus I take to school everyday. You can actually learn a lot about people by watching them communicate with one another.
Currently, I work as a Barista on my school’s campus. I like to observe people who come into the shop. I watch them study, I watch couples fight and I have seen a lot of awkward partner dancing on the weekends when this one dance club has its bi-weekly meetings at the shop. Recently, I have been reading a book called, “How To Talk to Anyone ” by Leil Lowndes. Since I talk to a lot of people at my job, every once in awhile, I try new tricks that I have learnt from the book on my customers. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not. I find it all very interesting.
I learn a lot about myself and the people around me everyday. Unfortunately, I do not always get to share the things that I have learnt with everyone I would like to share it with because there is only so much time in a day and we all have busy lives. Therefore, I wanted to start a blog so that I can share all of my insights on people, the things that I learn about human behavior everyday, with everyone.
